How To Grow Plants In Subnautica 2 - Growbed Blueprint Location Guide
Growbeds are required to grow alien plants in Subnautica 2. Unlocking the Growbed requires traveling far from the Lifepod and following objectives that lead to the Alien Ruins area. Growbed fragments are located at the Research Station in the Alien Ruins marker, about 1,300 meters east of the Lifepod and about 720 meters east of the Tadpole Pens facility. Two fragments must be scanned for the blueprint, with one on the rooftop of the hab and the other on the ground behind the building. After unlocking, the Growbed can be built on most flat surfaces using the Habitat Builder tool from the Cultivation tab, costing 1x Titanium per Growbed. Plants can be grown by providing the listed required resources, including Necrolei Cyst, Cherimoya Rotsac, Pent, Macaron Sponge, Mimic Pylon, Freesia Flower, Acid Raion, and Cradle Shootroot.
"To unlock the Growbed, you need to travel quite far from your Lifepod. If you're playing on Survival Mode, then we encourage you to check our mini-walkthrough, since it should help you find the blackbox signals that you should track. Assuming you've already done some early-game tasks, you'll learn of another location called the Tadpole Pens. Upon completing the objectives there, you'll be told about another biome with an area called the Alien Ruins."
"The Subnautica 2 Growbed fragments are at the Research Station--i.e. the Alien Ruins marker. The location is approximately 1,300 meters east of the Lifepod or 720 meters east of the Tadpole Pens facility. You need to scan two Growbed fragments for the blueprint. Fortunately, the structures are right next to each other. One is on the rooftop of the hab, and the other is on the ground just behind the building."
