Simply adopting the Agile process does not mean your organization becomes Agile. Many companies switched from the Waterfall methodology to the Agile methodology for project management and failed miserably.
The ability to respond to change is at the core of the Agile process. Collaboration is at the heart of any Agile process that makes it possible to respond to changing needs and create work that is in the interest of all the stakeholders of a project.
