A Ventura County man has been arrested and charged with fatally shooting his sister, the county sheriff's office said.Deputies arrested Brennan Post, 33, after responding to a call for an assault with a deadly weapon at a home in the Thousand Oaks area about 1:12 a.m.Friday and finding Post's sister, 25-year-old Cassidy Snow, fatally wounded, the sheriff's office said.

A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a man Thursday morning in Maywood, authorities said.The shooting was called in around 5:45 a.m. at a residence in the 6100 block of Clarkson Avenue, where detectives had been serving a search warrant, according to authorities.Deputies serving the warrant detained one man on the front porch of the home and "made announcements demanding entry," the L.A.
