A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a man Thursday morning in Maywood, authorities said.The shooting was called in around 5:45 a.m. at a residence in the 6100 block of Clarkson Avenue, where detectives had been serving a search warrant, according to authorities.Deputies serving the warrant detained one man on the front porch of the home and "made announcements demanding entry," the L.A. County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
