BrieflySM on Privacy

A few points before we jump into the legal stuff.

Briefly is about community and collective insight. We need to earn your trust in order to build this community, and that begins with being fair and transparent about how we use your data. This philosophy is core to our identity.

Right now, it's all very simple:

  • We don't have any ads on the site, but may in the future.
  • We don't do anything fancy with your data, and if that changes in any way that would be material to you, we'll let you know in advance.
  • We use a few carefully selected partners to help us manage and administer the service. Right now that includes:
    • • Google Analytics, to understand how folks are using the service and where they are coming from. Google may use some of the data they collect from our services for its own purposes, as disclosed in the Google privacy policy.
    • • Medium, to help us manage our blog, including the blog comments feature. There is a separate Medium privacy policy.

If you have any questions at all, please contact us directly at privacy@briefly.co.

On to the legal stuff...
