Andrew Pierce Scott, the Maker Crafting Treasure Out of Scrap
Briefly

Scott's artistic journey began with his time at BDDW, where he discovered the transformative power of materials and the potential of making beyond industrial design.
His curiosity for scrap materials ignited when he observed discarded oil barrels in London, prompting him to explore the transformation of trash into functional art.
Through his practice, Scott aims to decode the potential in overlooked materials, negotiating between their past and future, resulting in unique furniture pieces.
Scott holds a BA in Studio Art and Classics, and his MA in Design Products at the Royal College of Arts further enhanced his exploration of craft.
