Vegas, Seattle take new approach for Classic look

The NHL and Adidas faced a unique challenge in designing Winter Classic jerseys for the Vegas Golden Knights and the Seattle Kraken.
Usually, Winter Classic jerseys are influenced by nostalgia and the history of the teams involved, but as recent expansion franchises, Vegas and Seattle don't have that history to draw from.
To create authentic jerseys, the NHL and Adidas imagined what these teams might have worn in the 1910s or 1920s and worked with them on refining the designs. [ more ]
