Wet Leg have gotten The Dare to remix "mange tout," one of the standouts from their excellent 2025 album moisturizer. When the band hit the scene, there were a lot of comparisons to the mid-'00s UK indie scene that gave us Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand, and The Dare is basically milking the whole DFA scene from the same era.
Bon Iver's Justin Vernon is a perennial Recording Academy favorite, having won Best New Artist over a decade ago off his 2011 album. He's since been consistently recognized for his own releases, as well as, more recently, his work on Taylor Swift's pair of 2020 albums, and . Vernon is nominated for Best Alternative Album, for SABLE, fABLE, and Best Alternative Music Performance, for its single " Everything Is Peaceful Love."
Wry indie rockers Wet Leg brought a raucous show to the Brooklyn Paramount in New York on September 18th. Our former CoSign are touring on behalf of their excellent new album, moisturizer, and the Brooklyn Paramount hosted some fun theatrics from the increasingly-confident group. Moisturizer concludes with a track called U and Me at Home, where Rhian Teasdale sings about the pleasures of doing nothing over guitars that bend in and out of tune in the style patented by My Bloody Valentine.
