Allbirds found itself the subject of many jokes on social media on Wednesday. Investors in the long-beleaguered company, though, had something to celebrate. Its stock price shot through the roof after it rebranded itself as NewBird AI and said it would provide GPU compute-as-a-service.
Trump's Sunday post came at a particularly provocative time for a meme widely interpreted as Trump portraying himself as Jesus, healing the sick. It was Easter Sunday for Eastern Orthodox Christians.

The lyrics have a rather annoying quality to them, similar to the way that other songs like "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Fireflies" by Owl City or even "Friday" by Rebecca Black did in their time - songs that gained rapid popularity and, just as quickly, sparked rapid backlash from many due to overexposure to them.
The TikTok video starts with Jess saying: "Female-to-male trans (people) and first time moms: y'all need to get together and decide who gets to keep the FTM acronym." She can hardly keep a straight face as she continues: "In my local neighbourhood giveaway group, this woman posted 'FTM: looking for boy clothes', and to be fair, she said 'boy'. That should have been my first clue."
The latest feature to be added to Google Photos has the potential to be its most successful in a very long time. Basically, the service now lets you create memes in which you're the star. It really is as straightforward as it sounds, the only caveat being that the feature, called Me Meme, is right now only available in the US.

The rise of TikTok and YouTube has dramatically changed the lives of content creators by turning social media into a legitimate career path rather than just a hobby. These platforms allow ordinary people to build massive audiences without traditional media connections, often through algorithm-driven exposure.
It's our job to be translators of science so people understand what's happening and why it's so important. It's a global ocean. Just because something's happening in one place, doesn't mean it's not going to have an effect elsewhere in the world.
