Central Asia Offers Trump Critical Minerals At Washington Summit

Kazakh and US officials on November 6 announced a new joint partnership to develop one of the world's largest untapped deposits of tungsten in the Central Asian country. The deal will see the US company Cove Kaz Capital Group take a 70 percent stake in the venture alongside Kazakhstan's state mining firm and is estimated to cost $1.1 billion, while the US Export-Import Bank has issued a letter of interest to fund $900 million.
