SAN RAMON - A magnitude 3.0 quake jolted the Tri-Valley area late Tuesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The earthquake hit around 10:11 p.m. about 2.6 miles southeast of San Ramon, 3.6 miles north of Dublin and 5.6 miles south-southeast of Danville, the USGS reported. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. The quake was felt as far away as San Rafael, Alameda and Stockton, according to the USGS.
