The 46-year-old was playing for Old Boys against Old Christians in an over-40s Liga Universitaria game on Saturday, but was left needing hospital treatment following a hefty collison during the match. Uruguyuan news outlet Referi reports that Forlan was left prone on the floor after a collison with an opponent, and was soon after rushed to hospital. It was at the hospital that doctors discovered three broken ribs and a partially-collapsed lung, which also needed draining of fluid.
