In fact, preparing ahead can actually help us be more present - both in the season we're in and the one to come. Procrastinating or avoiding preparation in one season can easily lead to disappointment or exhaustion in the next. There's a delicate balance between presence and preparation - I call this finding your seasonal home rhythm.
