Katie Amess, the daughter of murdered MP Sir David Amess, is suing the police and government for failing to stop his death.

Sir David Amess was stabbed 21 times by Ali Harbi Ali, an Islamic State fanatic who had been referred to the Home Office's deradicalisation scheme but was able to trick it.

An independent review of the scheme found it was failing and Katie Amess wants accountability and learning from her father's murder. [ more ]
