3 months agoState Dept. diplomatic security officer charged with Jan. 6 trespassing
A diplomatic security officer for the State Department has been arrested and charged with four misdemeanor counts for entering the U.S. Capitol during the riot on January 6, 2021.
The officer, Kevin M. Alstrup, is not accused of fighting with police or causing damage but was captured on multiple videos and photographs entering, walking around, and leaving the Capitol. [ more ]
