Ukrainian officials said at least three people were killed in overnight Russian strikes that targeted residential buildings in the eastern city of Kramatorsk. The February 8 attacks included heavy "glide" bombs, officials said, weapons that Russia has used to devastate both Ukrainian frontline positions as well as residential areas. Nearly 20 people were injured in the early morning attacks, the National Police said. In total, Russia fired more than 400 drones and missile at locations across the country, President Volodymy Zelenskyy said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says five people were killed and 10 injured overnight as Russian drones and missiles struck several regions. He said the attacks targeted Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, and Kirovohrad regions. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, he called on the US and Europe to take action to force Russian President Vladimir Putin cease his attacks.

The overnight drone attack on Kyiv injured at least 14 people and damaged railway infrastructure, while also setting buildings and cars ablaze across the city.
