"Yes, we're No. 1 in education. Yes, we're a safe state," said Chris Keohan, the spokesperson and consultant for the Taxpayers for an Affordable Massachusetts ballot committee. "But what does it tell you if we're losing people to states that are less safe, that have less level of education? It tells you that we're at a breaking point and something absolutely has to be done."
The Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts has announced $573,300 in grants to 39 organizations worldwide. Chosen from more than 200 submissions, the 2025 awards support a broad range of initiatives, including exhibitions, installations, publications, podcasts, student-led journals, international architecture events, and public programs that contribute to advancing architectural discourse and design experimentation. Over nearly seven decades, the Graham Foundation has provided more than $45 million in direct support to over 5,200 projects.
The Brooklyn Museum has released its schedule of public programs for July with events for visitors of all ages. Activities include Teen Pop-Up Talks, weekly Brooklyn Pop-Up Market, and Summer Jazz performances in the lobby.
