Brooklyn Museum Announces July Programs for All Ages

This includes the Teen Pop-Up Talks, a weekly Pop-Up Market with over 30 local vendors, and Summer Jazz performances in the museum lobby. The museum will also have a mobile unit at Coney Island for City of Water Day featuring hands-on art activities, games, and giveaways. The weekly market features more than 30 local vendors selling handmade items including artwork, jewelry, fashion, home goods and apothecary products.
Teen staff from the Museum Apprentice Program lead short talks on works in the Ancient Egyptian Art, Decorative Arts and Design and Toward Joy galleries. Families can join teen apprentices for art-making activities inspired by works in the museum's collection.
The museum's mobile unit will offer hands-on art activities and teaching objects at Coney Island for City of Water Day, with art-making, games and giveaways.
