Primary teachers demand reform to assault leave scheme as 58pc experience physical aggression in classroom

58% of Irish teachers have faced physical aggression in classrooms, prompting calls for reform of the assault leave scheme.

The ASTI members initiated a survey to evaluate physical aggression in educational settings and improve support systems for affected teachers.
