One of those difficult decisions is what to do with Noah Laba. If balling out in preseason is what gets you noticed and rewarded with a roster spot, Laba did exactly that with 6 points in 6 preseason games. He's not a point per game player (yet?), but I do think that he's a better option at 3C than Juuso Parssinen, who was up and down all preseason.
There are no if's, and's, or but's about it, Laba has earned the right to make the team out of camp. He has been noticeable in all of his preseason games he has played in. Laba has been the best rising prospect in the system for a reason. If the Rangers are serious about rewarding good play and effort, then Laba is at the top of the list to be rewarded. If he were to make the final roster, it would certainly offer a better upside than Juuso Parssinen as the 3C.
