I'm no doctor, but I wonder if surgery is still going to be a part of Robertson's offseason.

There has always been a desire to see Pierre Engvall use his size more.I guess we should be careful what we wish for and after an ongoing battle with Sean Durzi, Pierre Engvall used his frame in order to wield his stick like a lumberjack wields their axe to cut down Sean Durzi at center ice.Now, Pierre Engvall doesn't seem like a malicious player based on his entire career to date, and this is a rare moment where he has initiated any form of contact with another player on the ice, so it's certainly a surprise to see him ejected for intent to injure.

Given the circumstances, and how the stick hitting Sean Durzi appeared careless but didn't seem intentional, I'm surprised this is going to a hearing, so I'm bowing out on guessing the results of this one.

Heading into Toronto's game against the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, Pierre Engvall and David Kampf combined for a whopping six goals this season.So, like, almost a night's work for Tage Thompson.But after a challenging first period that saw the Maple Leafs dominate possession but with nothing to show for, it was two of Toronto's bottom-six forwards that got the scoring started.

The 2023 NHL Trade Deadline is March 3.
