Jayden Daniels is once again out in Week 15 after reaggravating the elbow injury in his first game back. This was incredibly frustrating for everyone associated with the Washington Commanders, as a season that had promised much quickly descended into chaos. The Commanders will be relying on veteran backup Marcus Mariota to lead the charge at MetLife Stadium. He's had a lot of experience in the starting role this season, and Washington's staff trusts him fully.

Patrick Mahomes completed just 14 of his 33 passes, throwing for 160 yards three interceptions. Yummy. The Chiefs punted or turned the ball over on their first four drives of the game, gaining just 41 yards in the process. Mmmmmm that's nice. And even when they did manage to tie the game at 10 late in the third quarter, they came up empty in the clutch, gaining 19 total yards on their next four drives and turning the ball over four times.

According to reports, a series of leisure items--including video games, cornhole boards, a ping pong table, and a basketball hoop--have been removed from the team locker room for the time being.

It wasn't just the way it all unfolded: Allowing leads of 19-0 and 26-8 to evaporate, giving up 33 points in the fourth quarter after holding the Broncos to none through the first three, and taking a two-point lead on a 65-yard touchdown drive capped by Jaxson Dart's 1-yard run with 37 seconds left - only to miss the extra point (for the second time in the game) and allow the winning field goal as time expired.

Joe Flacco will open the season as the Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback, entering his 18th NFL season. He will also start in the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams.
