NC turkeys Gobble, Waddle to be pardoned at White House ceremony this year

WASHINGTON (WTVD) -- Two turkeys from North Carolina will get the special honor of being pardoned at the White House this year for Thanksgiving. President Trump along with the First Lady will celebrate the 78th anniversary of the National Thanksgiving Turkey presentation with a ceremony taking place tomorrow. Last week, social media users were asked to select this year's turkey names from the options provided by North Carolina 4H and FFA students. The turkeys have officially been named "Gobble" and "Waddle".
