Paraglider bomb attack by Myanmar military kills at least 20 at protest

At least 20 people were killed and dozens more were injured in central Myanmar after the military launched a paraglider bomb attack during an anti-government protest on Monday night. The attack hit Chaung U, in Sagaing region, twice during a national holiday. Myanmar has been engulfed in armed conflict since the military seized power in 2021 and the town has been a key battleground in the war.
