Luis Rivera, an MS-13 gang member, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Brooklyn.
Rivera's co-defendant, Josue Leiva, was also sentenced to 35 years in prison for the same crime.
The gang leader, Melvi Amador-Rios, was convicted and sentenced to life in prison plus 38 years for his involvement in the murder and other charges. [ more ]

Elmer Rodriguez, the leader of a faction of the MS-13 gang, has been sentenced to life in prison for racketeering conspiracy, attempted murder, and murder.
