Another day, another awards snub. That's how the offseason has gone so far for the Toronto Blue Jays. First Ernie Clement and Alejandro Kirk were robbed of the catcher gold glove awards. And the Blue Jays as a team should have taken home that trophy as well. Now John Schneider was robbed of Manager of the Year as it was revealed he lost to Stephen Vogt of the Cleveland Guardians.

The Roberto Clemente Award is presented annually in recognition of a Major League player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field. As part of the annual award, each team nominates one player to be considered for the league-wide award in tribute to Clemente's achievements and character.

O'Hearn is batting .306 with 10 home runs, nine doubles, 27 RBIs, an .881 OPS and a 1.6 WAR through 59 games this season.
