The Toronto Blue Jays have struggled early in the 2026 season with a 5-7 record, looking to rebound after a near World Series win last year.
Tampa is clearly the weakest team in the division after a quintessential Rays offseason that involved letting several marquee players go. They traded long-time second baseman-and known Blue Jays killer-Brandon Lowe to the Pittsburgh Pirates and watched closer Pete Fairbanks sign a one-year deal in Miami, among other moves.
Glasnow lasted two full innings and faced a batter in the third, allowing a single hit while striking out four. The big right-hander struck out the side in the first inning, forcing whiffs from Austin Hays and Lenyn Sosa and catching Kyle Teel looking. He looked just as good in the second inning, retiring the side in order with a groundout, a lineup and his fourth strikeout of the outing.
