"The clients are a family of five who were already living in the Barcelona flat but wanted to give it new character through the redesign of the kitchen and bathrooms," says Muñoz. Each image originates from a physically constructed model room built from scratch. Traditional model-making methods are combined with contemporary fabrication tools, including laser cutting and 3D printing.
For many architects, schematic design is defined by a familiar tension.
