The Brooklyn court officials mistakenly left two alternate jurors isolated for nearly 12 hours after failing to inform them they could leave with the main jury at 4:30 p.m.

The dynamic weather system passing through is expected to become more intense in the next 24 hours. The rain 'overperformed' forecasts on Thursday, the National Weather Service says, but the stronger rains are on their way.
