The New York Yankees acquired pitcher JT Brubaker from the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named later and international signing bonus money.
Brubaker is recovering from Tommy John surgery and is expected to be ready to pitch around midseason. He had shown potential for improvement in strikeouts before his injury. [ more ]
