Joelle Murray promoted to head coach of Hibernian on a three-and-a-half-year contract, succeeding Grant Scott after a 21-year playing career with the club.
The annual accolade, awarded by the Basque side, is a celebration of iconic players who have dedicated their careers to a single team. Murray, 38, played for the Easter Road side from 2004 until 2024 to become their longest-serving player before moving into life as a coach, winning the Scottish Women's Premier League twice, the Scottish Cup seven times and the Scottish League Cup on five occassions.
