Mali closes schools, unis, as jihadis block fuel supply DW 10/27/2025

Schools and universities in Mali closed for two weeks because a militant-imposed fuel import blockade disrupted fuel supplies and staff movement.

At least 120 children have been kidnapped by jihadist insurgents in northern Mozambique, raising concerns over their exploitation.
