Over 800 complaints made in five weeks about influencers' potential failing to disclose brand deals and ads on social media
A new online form has been launched in Ireland to allow social media users to report non-compliant influencer advertising and marketing content to the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland (ASAI).
There were 845 anonymous submissions through the online form in the five weeks after its launch, and 180 formal complaints made in the last year, most of which were related to potential non-disclosure of paid partnerships.
