Israeli planes have carried out strikes near Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip in response to an alleged breach of the current ceasefire by Hamas, Israeli media reported on Sunday. An Israeli official told AFP news agency that Hamas militants had launched multiple attacks against Israeli forces in Gaza. "The terror organization Hamas carried out multiple attacks against Israeli forces beyond the Yellow Line," the official said, referring to the boundary beyond which Israeli forces hold positions.
