Hibernian have rejected an offer from Italian Serie A club Hellas Verona for striker Kieron Bowie. The 23-year-old joined the Scottish Premiership club in summer 2024 and has now played 52 times for the Easter Road side, scoring 15 times. Kirkcaldy-born Bowie, who won his first two Scotland caps last year, started his career with local club Raith Rovers before moving south to the Premier League with Fulham in 2020.
Hellas Verona are a modest club in Italy and are an established team in the top flight of Italian football. I Gialloblu finished as high as 13th in the Serie A table in the 2023-24 season and 14th in the 2024-25 campaign, and they will be happy if they end up in a similar position this time around. Paolo Zanetti's side, though, are in real trouble at the moment. Hellas are 17th in the Serie A table right now with just five points from eight matches, only a point above the relegation zone.
