2025 has been the most incredible year for indie gaming. Rather than one ultra-standout game, like last year's Balatro ( 15 percent off), we've been treated to a wide array of small-team, small-budget creations that have broken through to wider attention. And right now, nearly all of them are available at a decent discount in Steam's Winter Sale.

To help you avoid wasting your cash, we've dug through reviews, checked price histories and sorted out the best Cyber Monday gaming deals we could find below. So far we're seeing PS5 consoles for $100 off, all-time lows for tons of Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and PC games and notable price drops on various mice, keyboards, headsets and other peripherals we like.

Steam is currently running its "Steam Scream IV" sale and while it's a little light on big AAA headliners (don't expect any Resident Evils on sale, or the recent Silent Hill f), there's a solid chunk of older titles you might've missed, as well as dozens of cool indie games available for pocket change (actual pocket change, mind you). The criteria for the "Scream" sale is also quite wide, so not all of these are horror games strictly speaking, but hey, a discount's a discount.

After racking up impressive reviews following its release in July, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is finally getting its first big discount. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers - Day One Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series X is on sale for just $40 (was $50), making this the lowest price we've seen for the action game yet. Along with the game, this version comes with a DLC voucher for additional content.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is available at a discounted price for the first time since its release, with significant savings on both Switch and Switch 2 editions.

Black Myth: Wukong, inspired by Journey to the West, will launch on Xbox Series X|S on August 20, with pre-orders available starting June 17.
