A 20-year-old filmmaker from Cabra, Max Hendrickson, died in a scooter crash with his Czech girlfriend.
He studied film at IADT and had won Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year in 2023 at age 17.
He repeatedly submitted work to Fresh International Film Festival since age 12 and created an award-recognized animated adaptation of Poe.
