We can finally answer the question of who wins in a fight between prime Aang and prime Korra. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, which is a working title, was announced at New York Comic Con and already has a release date of summer 2026. The developer, Gameplay Group International, revealed a trailer with some "pre-alpha footage" that resembles Street Fighter but with our favorite characters from the Avatar franchise.
Riot's long-awaited fighting game 2XKO, previously called Project L, will be released for PC as an early access title on October 7. That's just two weeks away. The company dropped a development update video that's filled with nods to the source material. 2XKO is set in the League of Legends universe and features many characters from across the franchise. Players can fight as icons like Jinx, Yasui, Braum and many more.
Each player alternates turns attacking and defending. To attack, a player can choose up to three cards from their hand that represent a combination of joystick and button options, like what you'd find on an arcade game. Joysticks feature the four cardinal directions, and there are four button options (A, B, X, Y). Attackers must play at least one card, while defenders may play up to two cards.
