Pete Buttigieg leads in early state poll for 2028 Democratic primary - LGBTQ Nation

The Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center earlier this month, asked likely Democratic primary voters about a list of potential candidates, including Buttigieg, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), California Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. 19% of respondents said that they would support Buttigieg in the 2028 primary. Newsom and Ocasio-Cortez came in second and third place with 15% and 14%, respectively.

New poll in NYC mayor's race has Zohran Mamdani with commanding lead in just about every scenario

The poll also asked likely voters what would happen if some of the contenders were to drop out. In every scenario, Mamdani maintained his comfortable lead in the race. If Cuomo drops out, Mamdani rises to 48.4% support, ahead of Sliwa by 27.6 points (48.4%-20.8%). If Adams drops out, Mamdani leads Cuomo by 14 points, 42.6%-28.3%. If Sliwa drops out, Mamdani leads Cuomo by 16.8 points, 45.1%-28.3%.
