Once the team finished its on-ice session, the Caps hosted their first family skate of the regular season, giving players a chance to take the ice with their significant others and children. Two tykes who made it out onto the sheet early were Alex Ovechkin's children, Sergei and Ilya, wearing black Screaming Eagle jerseys.
