For one of the most popular fall scents, pumpkin spice is also one of the most divisive. You either love a pumpkin spice latte or find it way too sweet. And you either want your space to smell like a giant pumpkin pie or prefer a faint hint of allspice. In my opinion, the only thing a great pumpkin spice candle truly has to do is smell just like fall, which really depends on what the season means to you.
From hot apple cider to baked goods in the oven, there's a candle for every fall scent. As much of a sucker as I am for fragrant candles, several years ago I decided to cut down on my candle spending. While my grandma's olla aromática recipes can compete with any high-end candle (and win), I don't always have the time to leave a pot simmering on the stove all day.
You know it's officially cozy season when Costco rolls out the massive 3.5-pound Sand + Fog candles. These candles are so huge that shoppers say they'll last you through the end of the year (and maybe into next fall and winter, too!). And this year there are new scents that are perfect for the upcoming cozy season. Last year the Sand + Fog candles came in a fairly basic cube-shaped glass vessel with a wooden top.
