A false fire alarm aboard a Ryanair jet preparing for takeoff from Spain's Palma de Mallorca airport to the UK resulted in several passenger injuries. Passengers were evacuated using inflatable slides, and while disembarking, some suffered minor injuries like ankle sprains. Ryanair quickly arranged for a replacement aircraft and confirmed that there was no fire on board.

It was total panic. Security rushed around and told everyone to get out immediately. At first, they didn't say why but soon we were told there was a bomb threat.
