Newcastle United are reportedly plotting an ambitious move for Aston Villa outcast turned Serie A sensation, Donyell Malen. According to Football Insider, Eddie Howe has identified the Dutch attacker as one of his attacking targets in the summer transfer window. Following the failures of Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade this season, both of whom were signed to replace Alexander Isak, the Magpies are out in the market once again to add attacking options to their squad.

Roma have announced plans to buy Donyell Malen permanently for €25m, the Dutch striker that they got on loan in January from Aston Villa. Given the prices circulating today, it's certainly a coup, given that he's scored 10 goals in 12 games so far.
