Disneyland's Haunted Mansion will soon serve as an eerie new wedding venue for brooding brides looking for a morbid place dripping with tales of mourning, dread and murder to exchange their wedding vows and begin their happily ever after. Disneyland will begin offering weddings in July for the first time in front of the Haunted Mansion starting at $25,000 to $40,000, according to the official Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons website.

Ever since I was little, I've been a die-hard Disney fan - in fact, most of my T-shirts, hats, and sweatshirts have Mickey on them. The organizers of Disney Gay Days - the unofficial annual fan event where LGBTQ+ people visit the Disney World theme park in Orlando, Florida - cancelled this year's event, scheduled for the first weekend in June (which was to be the event's 35th anniversary), according to a public Facebook post published Sunday. "Changes to our host hotel agreement, the loss of key sponsorship support, and broader challenges currently impacting LGBTQIA+ events nationwide made it impossible to deliver the experience our community deserves," organizers wrote.

A new campaign from GLAAD aims to spotlight queer married couples, asking for submissions from those whose lives have been made better by having the legal right to marry. GLAAD I Found You uplifts "married queer couples finding each other and celebrating joy, the same as any other couple who decides to make this life-changing commitment."

NYC Pride, which organizes the main Pride March in New York City on the final Sunday in June, unveiled its 2026 theme, For All of Us, which is inspired by a quote attributed to the late Marsha P. Johnson. This year's theme aims to pay tribute to LGBTQ trailblazers like Johnson while also emphasizing the need to support marginalized members of the community, according to NYC Pride.
