Deshawn Lucas, a wanted man with a federal indictment against him, has been charged with shooting a Chicago police officer.
Lucas was arrested following a smash-and-grab burglary at a Prada store in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
Lucas and the injured officer were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment. [ more ]
