Closing arguments are set to begin in the defamation case against Donald Trump, in which E. Jean Carroll accused Trump of sexual abuse.
Trump expressed frustration at not being able to refute Carroll's accusations and wanted to defend himself, his family, and the presidency.
The jury in this trial will determine whether additional damages are owed to Carroll for statements Trump made in 2019, after a previous jury concluded that Trump sexually abused Carroll and defamed her. [ more ]
