Rachel Reeves set to clamp down on high-end bike purchases in Cycle to Work scheme

Chancellor Rachel Reeves plans to restrict expensive purchases in the Cycle to Work scheme to stop wealthier commuters exploiting tax breaks.

The government will cap cycle-to-work scheme bike values to stop high earners using tax breaks to buy luxury e-bikes at taxpayer expense.
