The Home Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with the UK's legal commitments regarding asylum seekers. Asylum seekers are initially housed in contingency accommodation, such as hotels, hostels or special secure facilities. Later they may be moved to dispersal accommodation, including shared houses or self-contained flats or houses.

Increasingly, travelers are voicing concerns about the rising costs, excessive cleaning fees, confusing checkout instructions, and inconsistent service quality.

"Everyone in Ireland at some stage is going to come to Dublin, so there needs to be more pressure on Government to be paying some of those costs," she said.
