After playing an invite-only show at the venue last week, Mitski officially began her six-show residency at The Shed on Monday night (3/2). She played a lot of her fantastic new album Nothing's About to Happen to Me and a bunch of older songs, including one from her 2012 debut Lush, "Pearl Diver."

Being the on-stage savant that she is, the 27-year-old packed a whole lot into the 90 minute show, from Miss Milan's beats and Charli XCX remixes to a nearly blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo from Julia Fox.
The student compositions were collaborations between Portland State's Sonic Arts and Music Production Department and the Percussion Studio, facilitating a great opportunity for students.
