You know how you have the talking stick in groups that gets passed? We used to jokingly pass a box of tissues around the room. There were a lot of tears.
"When people come into the ballpark, it's an interesting piece of our history and they're going to want to see it," said Brooks Boyer, the chief executive and marketing officer for the White Sox.
"She added a deep, aesthetic charm, adding to the dynamism of our community. We have a neighborhood that has the arts at its center really because she cared. Jane's work was a true labor of love."
Mr. McConville was a member of Drumgath GAA Club, which described him as "a bright light in our community." His contributions on the field were outstanding, helping lead multiple teams to victory and championships.
